It is another instance where the quality and ingenuity of Indian engineering has received an international stamp of approval. The Wi-Fi Alliance, the global industry body behind wireless networks and products has accorded the “Wi-Fi Certified” stamp to the design and IP backing the core wireless offerrings ofthe Bangalore based semiconductor designer Ittiam Systems.
The design team at Ittiam Systems consisted of only six Indian engineers who achieved this feat in less than 12 months of starting of with the project.
Google Adsense has changed the nature of the web. Even small-time publishers can earn by displaying Google ads on their sites. But the question of sabotage cannot be ruled out. Adsense will ban you in case of fraud clicks. Someone may avenge on you by clicking ads on your site deliberately. Which is where Adlogger comes to help. Download Adlogger
Installation is user-friendly. Adlogger needs PHP and MySQL, make sure your server has these before installation.
- Unzip the AdLogger package and upload it to your website. The adlogger folder must be in the root of your server, that is, in the public_html folder.
- Now change the permission levels of these 3 files - config_admin.php, config_database.php & config_settings.php - to 666.
- Create a database. Name it adlogger or anything you like.
- Now point your browser to yousite.com/adlogger and the rest of the installation will be handled by an installation wizard.
- After installation delete the install folder and chmod the the 3 files - config_admin.php, config_database.php & config_settings.php - back to 644.
Next comes Code Setup. Login to your adlogger admin and go to Adlogger Setup. Adlogger generates 3 types of codes all of which should be implemented on your site to properly log clicks. the Tracking code logs the ad clicks while the Wrapping code allows you to ban certain IPs or them who are clicking too many ads within a time period. And the Cace-Control code reloads the webpage everytime from the server instead of browser cache.
What about Gmail paper?It was announced in the Gmail home page on 1st April’07. Google said that through this new facility members can request hard copied of received emails, which will be sent to postal address via parcel. Just need to choose the messages to be printed out and then should click the “Paper Archive†button in the menu. It’ll take just 2-4 business days for the prints to arrive at one’s home. Picture attachments will be printed on photo-quality paper.

Blogger is now with a new feature that the users can write their posts in Hindi. Hindi is spoken by almost 800 million people (according to Wikipedia), mostly in India. So, Google has recently launched Hindi news service, and has included Hindi transliteration on blogger as web-publishing service. Google believes that these two launches will enable Indian people to have quicker, easier access to lots more information in the country’s most popular language Hindi. As the users are mostly bilingual, Google enables them to switch freely between English and Hindi.
