I have earlier mentioned the problem of broken Bengali text display in Firefox and a plugin to address the same in Wordpress blogs. The text was broken when aligned with ‘justify’ or applied ‘letterspacing’. This will be fixed in Firefox 3. Still it is not time as yet to stop using the plugin as all Firefox users may not be up to date with the latest version.

We are pretty familiar with spam mails from Nigeria. An interesting story that a Nigerian spammer may tell you is somewhat like this - he is the son of an influential person (an African dictator/minister or something like that) who has died leaving a huge fortune, all that money will be confiscated if falls in the government’s hands and so you are to help him to get the money out of the country for which you get 15% share or may be even more.
I have been eagerly waiting for YPN to arrive in India. The wait seems to be finally over with Yahoo acquiring 35-50% of Indian ad company Tyroo. So that is not YPN exactly, nevertheless it’s Yahoo at least.

Intel has intensified the price war with price cuts on a number of microprocessors. The new price list (PDF) is available on the Intel site. Q6600, a Core 2 Quad processor running at 2.4GHz, has seen a whopping 50% slash in price - down to $266 from $530.
Capgemini CEO Paul Hermelin has denied any plans of selling part of the group’s business in a letter to the employees, a copy of which I have obtained from my friends at Capgemini. He called it a “rumour surfaced in the Indian press” and selling such key areas as FSI and retail is out of question.
